Terms and Conditions

Reservation and Payment:

  • No deposit is required at the time of booking. Confirmation takes place via email or SMS.
  • Full payment is recommended through the link in the confirmation email for an easier administration process.
  • Cancellation must be made in writing via email to post@fredfolld.dk
    Bookings made through platforms other than Fredfylld.dk, email: post@fredfylld.dk or phone +45 23 44 88 44 (e.g. booking.com) must be canceled directly with the retailer.

Cancellation and Changes:

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival, after which we can charge up to 100% of the reservation amount.

Arrival and Departure:

  • Check-in from 3 p.m.; check-out no later than 11 a.m.
  • Early check-in possible if accommodation is ready ahead of time. If the room/cabin/mobile home is cleaned and ready for the guest before 15:00 it is possible to get the keys here without additional fees (early check-in) otherwise you can have luggage stored in our reception so that you can explore the city or something else.
  • Late check-out usually not available without special agreement. If check-out is not made before 11:00 on the day of departure, we can charge the full amount for 1 extra night.

If the reception is closed on arrival, keys can be found in an envelope with all relevant information in our cat's door in the reception door. For assistance, you can always call us on our phone +45 23 44 88 44.

Welcome to Frederiksværk Camping & Hostel, where we offer a flexible and holistic approach to your camping experience. By choosing to stay with us with your caravan, motorhome or tent, you automatically accept the terms and conditions below, which are designed to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all our guests.

  1. Access and Payment:
    • Access to the campsite is possible around the clock, giving you the freedom to arrive when it suits you best.
    • Payment for your stay must be made during reception opening hours. We encourage you to do this upon arrival to ensure a smooth experience.
  2. Departure:
    • On your departure date, we ask you to leave the site by sunset at the latest. This allows us to maintain and prepare the space for the arrival of the next guests.
  3. Reservation:
    • No deposit is required at the time of booking. We believe in trust and flexibility as the basis of our relationship with guests.
  4. Space use:
    • Your allocated space is for your personal use during your stay. We ask you to respect nature and keep your area clean and tidy.
  5. Environment and Sustainability:
    • We encourage all our guests to practice sustainability by saving water and electricity, recycling and sorting waste correctly.
  6. Noise policy:
    • To ensure the comfort of all guests, please keep noise to a minimum, especially between 22.00 and 09.30.
  7. Security:
    • Please follow all safety instructions and rules issued by the campsite. This includes, but is not limited to, rules regarding the use of open fires, barbecue facilities and driving on the site.
  8. Responsibility:
    • Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to campsite property or to other guests during their stay.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you undertake to comply with the rules and guidelines established to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all guests at Frederiksværk Camping & Hostel. We look forward to welcoming you and wish you a memorable stay.

Booking and Deposit:

  • Ved booking af vores festlokale opkræves et reservationsgebyr på 4.000,- DKK samt et sikkerhedsdepositum på 2.000,- DKK. Dette sikkerhedsdepositum er til for at dække eventuelle skader eller ekstra rengøringsomkostninger og vil blive tilbagebetalt efter arrangementet, forudsat at lokalet, inklusive industrikøkken, toiletter og service, er i samme stand som ved overdragelsen.

Cancellation:

  • Cancellation more than 60 days before the start date of the event is free of charge. In case of cancellation less than 60 days but more than 30 days before the event, the booking fee will be withheld as compensation for lost booking opportunity, while the security deposit will be refunded. If canceled less than 30 days before the event, full rent of the room will be charged as compensation for lost income and preparation costs.

Arrival and Departure:

  • For daytime events, the keys are handed out the day before the event from 15.00 and must be returned no later than 11.00 the day after the event. This gives the tenant the opportunity to prepare and clean up outside the rental period itself.
  • The tenant is responsible for cleaning up after the event, including emptying fridges, stacking chairs and washing dishes. Our team will subsequently be responsible for thorough cleaning of the floors, toilets and kitchen. Any damage or failure to clean up may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

Additional Provisions:

  1. Damage compensation: The hirer is fully responsible for any damage to the property, fixtures or equipment caused by the hirer themselves, their guests or service providers during the event. Costs of repair or replacement will be charged to the tenant.
  2. Rules of conduct: All guests and service providers must comply with applicable rules of conduct and safety regulations during the event. Violation may result in immediate expulsion and/or additional financial penalties.
  3. Noise and Music: The noise from the party, including music, must be kept at a level so that it does not disturb other guests on the property. Music must be muted and the bass removed no later than 11 p.m., and all outdoor activity must be limited after this time to comply with local noise regulations and ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
  4. Compliance with Staff Instructions: Our staff's instructions regarding safety, behavior and use of the facilities must always be observed. This ensures that your event runs smoothly and without unforeseen problems.
  5. Safety and Emergency Exits: For safety reasons, all emergency exits must be kept clear and accessible throughout the event. Violation of this rule may result in immediate eviction from the property.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a clear understanding and agreement between Frederiksværk Camping & Vandrehjem and the tenant of our party room. By making a reservation and receiving a confirmation via email or SMS, the hirer accepts these terms and conditions.

Reservation and Payment:

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total reservation value is required. The remaining amount must be in our hands no later than 1 month before arrival. Payment can be made via bank transfer, digital payment link, or in person by credit card or cash. A reservation is only considered valid when we have sent you a confirmation.

Cancellation:

  • Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival, however an administration fee of 5% of the total booking amount is charged.
  • If canceled less than 60 days before arrival, 30% of the total reservation amount will be withheld.
  • If canceled less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged.

Liability for Damages:

Guests are fully responsible for any damage to the property, fixtures or equipment caused by themselves or their party during the stay. Costs associated with repairing or replacing damaged items will be billed to the responsible guest or group leader.

Behavior and Safety Rules:

In order to ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, it is expected that everyone observes the following behavior and safety rules:

  • All guests are encouraged to behave respectfully towards each other, the staff and the property.
  • Any activities that involve the use of the campsite's facilities must take place taking into account safety instructions and guidelines issued by the campsite's staff.
  • Violation of these rules may result in warnings and, in severe cases, expulsion from the property without refund.

We consider these terms and conditions to be confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation. You undertake to comply with the above rules and accept the financial obligations that come with any damage caused during your stay. Rules:

  • A minimum of one person over the age of 18 must be present in each canoe.
  • Life jackets are mandatory for everyone.
  • The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the canoe and equipment as well as any loss of this until the end of the tenancy.
  • Tenants may be rejected if large quantities of alcohol, ghetto blasters, dogs without a leash are brought, or if their behavior is deemed to be a nuisance to other boaters and/or beach owners.
  • For any damages to yourself or your belongings during the trip, Frederiksværk Camping og Vandrehjem ApS has no liability for compensation.
  • For any damage to third-party property caused by the canoe is the responsibility of the renter with his own liability insurance.
  • The renter agrees with the applicable sailing rules.
  • The renter agrees to the applicable sailing rules. All canoe and kayak reservations are not binding, but in case of cancellation we strongly encourage you to contact the reception so that we can release the canoe/kayak for another adventurer who will experience Frederiksværk's canals.

As stated at Frederiksværk Camping & Vandrehjem, you automatically accept the general terms and conditions below upon receiving a confirmation of your reservation via e-mail or SMS.   1. Space use: Your pitch at the campsite is for recreational use only. Commercial activity or permanent residence is not permitted.
  2. Area and Environment: Residents undertake to maintain their area clean and tidy. Waste must be disposed of correctly in the appropriate waste containers. Only permanent tents and necessary camping equipment may be stored outside the trailer.
  3. Vehicles: Driving on the campsite is limited and must be done at low speed to ensure the safety of all guests. Parking is only permitted in the designated areas.
  4. Electricity and water: Use of electricity and water must be done with consideration for the environment. Overuse and waste will be prosecuted.
  5. Noise: Silence must be observed between 22.00 and 07.00. Violation may result in warnings and, in repeated cases, expulsion.
  6. Security: All safety regulations on the campsite must be observed. This includes rules for open fires, barbecues and the use of gas.
  7. Responsibility: Residents are responsible for any damage they or their guests cause to the campsite's property or other guests' belongings.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you undertake to comply with the rules and guidelines established to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all guests at Frederiksværk Camping & Hostel. Smoking policy:

  • To ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all our guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor facilities. Please smoke outside. Should smoking be detected inside, this will result in a fee of DKK 2,500 per room/room/cottage, which covers the costs of extra cleaning and deodorization of the premises. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.

Pet Policy:

  • We welcome guests with pets, provided they are under the full control of their owners and kept on a lead in all common areas of the property. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the pets do not cause inconvenience to other guests and to clean up and pick up litter after them. To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we do not accept aggressive pet breeds or breeds classified as illegal. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.

Noise policy:

  • To ensure the comfort and well-being of all our guests, we maintain a policy of quietness and tranquility on the property from at 22.00 to 09.30. We kindly ask all guests to respect this time to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all. Should this policy not be adhered to, we reserve the right to evict the property without refund of any payments. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

Disclaimer and Force Majeure:

  • No responsibility for personal injury/loss caused by the actions of guests or third party services.
  • The property is not responsible for failure to fulfill obligations caused by force majeure.
  • In the event of Force majeure, we refer to the applicable Danish legislation, which exempts one or both parties from the contract in the event of an extraordinary situation over which the parties have no control. Such a situation could, for example, be war, a strike or a natural disaster, which makes it impossible for the contract to be executed.

Dispute resolution:

  • In case of complaints or disputes, we encourage our guests to first seek a solution through direct dialogue with our management. We believe that most disagreements can be resolved through open communication and mutual understanding. Should it appear that a satisfactory solution cannot be achieved through this initial dialogue, the parties are welcome to use mediation to find a peaceful solution. If mediation does not lead to a solution, the parties are entitled to bring the dispute before the court in Hillerød for a final decision. We are committed to supporting the fair and objective handling of all disputes in accordance with applicable law.


Data Protection and Privacy Policy:

  1. Collection of Information: We collect personal information as part of the booking process. This includes, but is not limited to, name, address, email, phone number and payment information.
  2. Purpose of Collection: The information is used solely to manage your booking, improve your experience with us and, where relevant, to communicate with you about your booking or send you information about future offers and events, unless you opt out of this service.
  3. Data protection: We fully comply with applicable data protection legislation. Your personal information is treated confidentially and is not shared with third parties unless necessary to complete your booking or required by law.
  4. Security: We take all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.
  5. Access and Rights: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, as well as the correction or deletion of this information. You can also object to the processing of your personal data and request restriction of processing.
  6. Storage period: We retain your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as long as required by applicable law.
  7. Changes to the Privacy Policy: We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy. Any changes will be published on our website and will take effect from the date of publication.
